Past:
Growing up, Asia had what most would consider an almost perfect childhood. Loving parents, a dog, the white picket fence. All she wanted to do was help those who were less fortunate than herself, and so she devoted her life to doing just that. Volunteering at soup kitchens, regularly donating to charity, sponsored walks. You name it, she probably did it. When she was old enough, she joined the military as a nurse, hoping to give brave volunteers a happy memory during their last few moments on Earth, using her powers to create one in their minds. Soon, seeing countless numbers of innocent victims find their way into her care made her cynical. It was draining to remove the horrific memories of those they had grown to love dying in front of them, only to replace them with images of flowers and their homes. She began to see that these innocent men and women who had offered up their lives for others, were clearly just pawns in someone elses game. They were just another statistic. Realising that no matter how hard she tried, these people and those around them would always be haunted with bloody memories, she decided to use her powers for something else. Helping others became less of a concern, as she realised the only person she could ever really depend on was herself. During her days in the military she was fortunate enough to meet Simon and Cyrus, who spoke of plans and schemes that they were just itching to start. She was impressed by how sly and manipulating they could be, and wanted to be a part of a group that was only looking out for themselves and no one else. Eventually she gained their trust and respect, using her powers to help them out of a particularly sticky situation that could have had dire consequences.
Present:
Asia spends her time working for Simon and Cyrus, covering their tracks so that no one will ever discover what they get up to. She is incredibly dedicated to her job, and trusts both of them more than most in her life. People often assume she is somewhat naive and weak because of her appearance, which helps her to deceive and get closer to others. It leaves them thinking she means no harm, but as soon as she touches them and erases their memories, they have no recollection of the redheaded girl with the sarcastic attitude. Asia is only friends with those that can offer her something. She isn’t one to enjoy small talk unless the person proves they are interesting, and even if it seems like you’re getting close to her, it’s unlikely you are. Ironically, while she can control the emotions of others, she is incredibly closed off to her own. So much so, that even Simon and Cyrus don’t always know what she’s thinking.
